Description

The invention relates to a radio-active pharmaceutical product containing 2-mercaptoisobutyric acid, and to its method of preparation. More precisely, this product contains 2-mercaptoisobutyric acid labelled by reduced technetium-99m. It is obtained by preparing a mixture of aqueous solutions of 2-mercaptoisobutyric acid adding technetium-99m pertechnetate ions in physiological saline solution. This product is obtained by a method in which labelling by technetium-99m is simple and rapid, and it proves useful for studying the morphology and operation of the liver and the biliary system by scintigraphy

L'invention concerne un produit pharmaceutique radioactif a base d'acide 2-mercaptoisobutyrique ainsi que son procede de preparation. Plus precisement, ce produit pharmaceutique est a base d'acide 2-mercaptoisobutyrique marque par le technetium-99m reduit on l'obtient en preparant un melange de solutions aqueuses d'acide 2-mercaptoisobutyrique et de chlorure stanneux (agent reducteur) et en y ajoutant ensuite des ions pertechnetates au technetium-99m en solution saline physiologique. Ce produit s'obtient par un procede ou le marquage par le technetium-99m est simple et rapide, et il est utile pour etudier par scintigraphie la morphologie et le fonctionnement du foie et de l'appareil biliaire
