Analysis of biological material for trace elements using PIXE method

Description

The purpose of this study was to show the non homogeneity of trace element (TE) concentrations in bulk living material. PIXE method was applied to the analysis of elemental concentration of a complete sheep liver. All data were statistically analysed and correlation of the elements is presented. The results show almost 50% non-homogeneity for individual trace element. (author)
