Certain peculiarities of metallic thermoelectric materials

Description
A generalization of the available theoretical and experimental data has shown that metallic thermal e.m.f.-generating materials are competitive with semiconductors in areas where critical is the value of the coefficient of power α2delta and the necessity for generating currents. The particularities of the electron structure of transition metals indicate that it may be worth while to develop the above alloys with a view of increasing the thermal e.m.f., in the first place, of p-branches of metallic thermal e.m.f.-generating elements
