Method for the fabrication of water-soluble sodium acrylate polymers by means of high-energy ionizing radiation
Description
The fabrication method of high-molecular sodium acrylate polymers by means of radiation of aqueous solutions that contain 25-40% by weight of sodium acrylate with high-energy ionizing radiation is being improved. The dose rate should range between 5000 and 50.000 rad/h, with maximally 200.000 rad/h. The pH value is at least 8. The water containing gel thus obtained serves to thicken aqueous solutions and as flocculating agent. The method is described in detail. (UWI)

Das Verfahren zur Herstellung von hochmolekularen Natriumacrylatpolymeren durch Bestrahlung waessriger Loesungen, die 25-40 Gew% an Natriumacrylat enthalten, mit energiereicher ionisierender Strahlung, wird verbessert. Die Dosisrate soll zwischen 5000 bis 50000rad/h liegen, maximal bei 200.000 rad/h. Der pH-Wert betraegt mindestens 8. Das so gewonnene wasserhaltige Gel dient zur Verdickung waessriger Loesungen und als Flockungsmittel. Das Verfahren ist ausfuehrlich beschrieben. (UWI)Files
