On the possibility of thermodynamic modeling of YBa2Cu3Oy formation
Description
Possibility of using thermodynamic modeling (TDM) is studied, one of the approaches to modeling YBa2Cu3Oy-phase formation is suggested. TDM is carried out for three systems representing solid solutions of yttrium, barium, copper (1,2) or copper (1,2,3) oxides and BaCuO2 of the composition: 0.5 Y2O3+2BaCO3 (2BaO)+3CuO+X moles of air 81 ≤ x ≤ 1000) under total atmospheric pressure and in the 400-2000 K temperature range. As a result of TDM equilibrium conditions of superconducting phase formation, the copper valency form ratio, y values are determined that are in agreement with the experimental data
