Description
The lowest state energies of 101Nb and 103Nb with the odd proton occupying the orbitals of [422 5/2], [303 5/2] and [301 3/2] have been calculated and found to have deep minima at δ=0.26 and 0.28, respectively. The low-lying level structures of the nuclei have been well reproduced by new Nilsson model and pairing and Coriolis coupling calculations. Reasonable agreement with experiments has also been obtained for the γ-ray transitions. (orig.)
