Creep rupture at non stationary stress and temperature loading conditions
Creators
Description
Assuming the validity of the life fraction rule the time to rupture as well as the respective stress and temperature at failure have been calculated for several ramp loading conditions. These calculations allow also to predict the life time of structures subjected to superimposed stress-temperature ramps as well as to tensional load and temperature cycles. The calculations are compared to experimental results (Zircaloy 4, Steel-Din-1-4970). (author)
