A note on the cross sections for the two step reaction in nickel
Description
In this note the fallacy in the evaluation of (n,α) cross section in the paper by Bauer and Kangilaski is explained and starting from the experimental data of Weitman, the (n,α) cross section for 59Ni(n,α) process is evaluated by fitting the rigorous expression instead of the one used by Bauer and Kangilaski.
