Double walled nuclear containment in France
Description
The results of the leaktightness tests which up to now have been completed on double walled containment buildings are analysed. Experiments carried out on concrete samples of the same class as the containment concrete and submitted to simulated LOCA conditions are described; they show an extra high safety margin for the behaviour and the tightness of containment concrete
