Light nuclei and nuclear matter
Description
We review some of the recent progress in the traditional nonrelativistic many-body theory of nuclei. The topics discussed include the models of two- and three-nucleon interactions, charge distributions, momentum distributions of nucleons, nucleon clusters (such as d+d in 4He) and excess pions in A=3,4 nuclei and nuclear matter. Approximate treatments of heavy nuclei are also briefly discussed. (orig.)
