Description
This paper reports on magnetic relaxation measurements at low magnetic fields and low temperatures in single crystals of CeCu2Si2 and UPt3 which show that the anomalous, fast decays of the remnant magnetization in these materials result from two mechanisms. These are the thermally activated flux creep and an almost temperature independent new mechanism. In UPt3 this new mechanism is predominant and results in decays of the remanent magnetization by about 30% in the first 104 sec for temperatures 7 mK < T < 350 mK
