High power transient characteristics and capability of NSRR

Description
Results of investigations into the evaluation of the NSSR reactor possibilities during simulation of transient processes and emergency conditions of operation of energetic reactors conducted in the Japan Atomic Energy Research Institute (JAERI) are presented. Reactor kinetics under different types of tests including oscillations of BWR power is studied. Optimal conditions of start-up, tests and conditions of provision of safety were found

Приведены результаты исследований, проведенных в Японском институте ядерной энергии (JAERI), по оценке возможностей реактора NSSR при моделировании нестационарных процессов и аварийных режимов работы энергетических реакторов. Изучены кинетические характеристики реактора при различных видах испытаний, в том числе в режиме колебаний мощности BWR.
