New reaction of eta6-6-N-dimethylaminofulvenmolybdotricarbonyl with tris(triphenylphosphinegold)oxonium borofluoride: synthesis and molecular structure of [(PhΛ3P)AuMo(CO)Λ3(eta5-CΛ5HΛ4CHO)]

Description

In order to study a possibility of preparation of new complexes a reaction of [Mo(CO)3(eta6-C5H4CHNMe2)] with (Ph3PAu)3O+BF4- resultng in an unexpected product - (eta5-formylcyclopentadienyl) (trphenylphosphinegold) molybdotricarbonyl has been studed. A molecular structure of the complex obtained is established on the basis of the data of infrared spectrometry, NMR spectrometry and X-ray diffraction analysis. It is noted that [(Ph3P)AuMo(CO)3 (eta5-C5H4CHO)] - is a first example of the formation of transition metal-gold bond in the result of gold complexes reaction with π-complexes without M-M or M-N bonds. Parameters of the crystal lattice of the complex are presented
