Characterisation of magnetic ion implanted ZnO materials
Description
Dilute magnetic semiconductors (DMSs) are promising materials for novel electronic devices. DMSs ZnO based DMSs has attracted tremendous attention for spintronic applications. Ferromagnetism in these systems might arise from the segregation of clusters or secondary phases. This report presents the initial results obtained from the gadolinium (Gd) implanted ZnO thin films and single crystals. (author). 59 refs., 64 figs., 5 tabs
