Description
The relation B= +- ν (4πrho)1/2 is a well-known exact, stable solution of the dynamical hydromagnetic equations in an ideal fluid. It is shown that an arbitrarily small force causes the equipartition solution to evolve steadily and without limit. Examples are given of the evolution from a gentle flow in a weak field to an intense flux tube
