A mechanism of generation of Alfven waves in the cosmic plasma
Description
The emission of Alfven waves when a contact discontinuity of the solar wind plasma intersects a dense stream of cosmic rays is studied. It is shown that the spectral distribution of the radiation energy density agrees qualitatively and quantitatively with the observational data
