Description
X-ray diffraction patterns of the cubic Laves phases (Hf/sub 1-x/Zr/sub x/)V2 have been obtained at 4 K. For x < 0.40 the low-temperature crystal structure is orthorohombic; for x > 0.45 the low-temperature structure is rhomobohedral. The discontinuity of structure is correlated with that of several superconductive properties of these alloys
