Effect of environmental radiation on the quality of in-service radiographic testing in nuclear power plant
Description
The author describes the effect of environmental gamma radiation on the quality of inservice radiographic testing in the duration of nuclear power plant (NPP) refueling outage. By means of practical measurement, calculation analysis, test on site and the parameters comparison between pre-service inspection and in-service inspection, the actual example shows that the effect is quite minor in the starting period of NPP commercial operation. However, this kind of effect could not be ignored along with the NPP's prolonged operation
