Formation of a light-impurity-free plasma in DIVA

  • 1. Japan Atomic Energy Research Inst., Tokai, Ibaraki. Tokai Research Establishment

Description

It is shown that the presence of a clean gold shell surface and titanium gettering of the burial chamber reduce light impurities in the DIVA plasma significantly. Formation and discharge characteristics of the light-impurity-free plasma are presented. (author)
