Determination of plasma parameters with allowance for electron sink onto a probe
Description
Some problems of plasma probe diagnostic related to a consideration of the effect of electron sink onto a probe are considered in the paper. It is shown that even small values of sink parameter strongly distort a form of the second derivative of probe electron current. It is also revealed that in the case of high values of sink parameter a zero value of the second derivative is essentially apart from a true value of space potential. For the case of high values of sink parameter the required distribution function turns out to be proportional to the first derivative of probe electron current
