Basic concept and design data of a nuclear sodium boiling experiments in KNK II
Description
On the basis of investigations within a feasibility study, the report describes the concept of a nuclear boiling generator as well as aspects of the nuclear and thermal-hydraulic design and instrumentation of a sodium boiling experiment in KNK II. In addition to the problems resulting from the feasibility study, first results of design calculations are presented. Therewith a common basis of available data for the solution of open questions is provided to the institutions participating in this project
