On the transverse size of a fast moving nucleon
Description
On the basis of the relativistic Yukawa potential it is shown that the nucleon 'transverse size' corresponding to equipotential values grows with increasing its energy as (lnγ)0.8-lnγ (γ is the Lorentz-factor) due to the field of virtual spin mesons. The opinion is expressed that the known growth of the interaction cross section is probably just due to the indicated reason. 4 refs.; 1 tab
