Alkali metal oxogallates

Description

Infrared absorption spectroscopy was used in studying metagallates of alkaline metals of the MGaO2 type, where M is an alkaline metal, and lower gallates of Li2Ox5Ga2O3 and M2Ox6Ga2O3, where M is Na, Ru, K, Cs. A new technique for synthesizing rubidium and cesium metagallates is suggested, residing in dehydration of hydroxogallates of these elements, of the M2[Ga2O(OH)6] type on heating
