Fluidized Bed Nuclear Reactor used for personnel training

The fluidized Bed Nuclear Reactor is a small and modular reactor being simple in design while utilizing the Pressurized Water Reactor technology. The reactor being modular in design, its feasibility can easily be demonstrated by developing only one module, thus requiring a small investment. This reactor concept has already served as means for training human resources through which many Doctor and master theses have been developed. This reactor concept demonstrates the characteristics of inherent safety, passive cooling, and reduced nuclear waste impact. It can serve as an inexpensive means of training of human resources in the nuclear field and many prove to be a viable reactor option in the new era of nuclear technology. (author)
