Radiative lifetimes and oscillator strengths in Mo I

Description

Using selective laser excitation of an atomic beam of Mo and time-resolved observation of the reemitted resonance fluorescence the following atomic lifetimes were measured: tau(z 7P2) = 16.3(8) ns, tau(z 7P3) = 15.8(8) ns, tau(z 7P4) = 14.7(7) ns, tau(y 7P2) = 6.6(3) ns, tau(y 7P3) = 7.3(4) ns, tau(y 7P4) = 5.6(3) ns, tau(Z 7D2) = 35.6(2.0) ns, tau(z 7D3) = 21.2(1.0) ns, tau(z 7D4) = 119(8) ns.
