Borohydrides of rare earths of yttrium subgroup solvated by dimethoxyethane, Ln(BH4)3·DME

Description
Complexes Ln(BH4)3xDME (Ln=Gd-Tm, Lu) have been prepared by means of thermal decomposition of the corresponding NaLn(BH4)4xxDME and isolated in individual state, using the method of vacuum sublimation. The volatility of the complexes increases from gadolinium to lutetium. On the basis of data of physicochemical methods the structure of the complexes is discussed
