Description
Deep inelastic electron scattering of virtual photons with an average invariant mass squared of -0.35 GeV2 has been measured using photon-photon ''double-tag'' events taken with the PLUTO detector at PETRA. The data are expressed as a combination of the structure functions F2 and Fsub(L) and are compared with expectations from the quark parton model and QCD. (orig.)
