Common anomaly of the upper critical magnetic field in YBa2Cu3O7-δ, HoBa2Cu3O7δ and Nd1.85Ce0.15CuO4-δ irradiated by helium ions

Description
Common anomaly in the change of the upper critical magnetic field, resulting from the irradiation by the helium energy ions is determined in the YBa2Cu3O7-δ, HoBa2Cu3O7δ and Nd1.85Ce0.15CuO4-δ high-temperature superconductors. The increase in the Hc2 upper critical magnetic field, characteristic of common superconductors is absent by multiple growth of the ρ specific resistance due to scattering on radiation defects. The above anomaly can be explained within the frames of general mechanism by essential decrease in the conductivity electrons concentration due to loss of oxygen, which causes significant growth of ρ by weak change in scattering

Для высокотемпературных сверхпроводников YBa2Cu3O7-δ, HoBa2Cu3O7δ и Nd1.85Ce0.15CuO4-δ обнаружена общая аномалия в изменении верхнего критического магнитного поля в результате облучения энергичными ионами гелия. При многократном росте удельного сопротивления ρ отсутствует характерное для обычных сверхпроводников повышение Hc2 из-за рассеяния на радиационных дефектах. В рамках обычного механизма аномалия может быть объяснена существенным снижением концентрации электронов проводимости в результате потери кислорода, что вызывает значительный рост ρ при слабом изменении рассеянияAdditional details
