Description
This article describes the use of Fresnel-Fizeau effect in order to reduce the entrapment effect in a ring laser gyroscope. The study gives an analysis of the nonreciprocal optical element impact on the gyroscope output characteristic. Moreover, it numerically estimates the method's effectiveness. (paper)
