Kinetics of redox reactions of U, Np and Pu in TBP solutions
Description
An equation is presented, which describes the rate of Np(5) oxidation of TBP. The rate constant k constitutes 0.521±0.041 l0,8/mol0,8·min at 20 deg C, and activation energy E equals 74,9±2.4 kJ/mol. The reaction rate does not depend on TBP concentration in n-dodecane. The reaction is limited by Np(5) interaction with NO2
