Strain in lead salt layers
- 1. Humboldt-Universitaet, Berlin (German Democratic Republic). Sektion Physik
Description
Data obtained by luminescence experiments with several lead salt/substrate combinations are presented. They are explained in the framework of the action of built-in and thermally induced strain to the lead-salt band structure. The results obtained allow to improve the separation of both quantum-size effects and strain induced effects in lead-salt structures. (author)
