Analog-to-digital processing of output signal of charge-coupled devices
Description
A device for analog-to-digital processing of output signal of charge-coupled devices providing 30 dB noise suppression and analog signal conversion into 8-bit binary code with a relative error of 6% at clock frequency up to 8 MHz is described. The input signal range is 0-1.7 V, commutation noise level is ≤20 mV. Two modifications of the device in microelectronic and discrete designs are tested. The developed analog-to-digital device can successfully operate in combination with a videosignal shaper made on charge-coupled devices and use in high-accuracy astrophysical and astronomical researches
