Extraction-equilibrium description from a solvent-effect scale and from a multiparameter free energy linearity equation

Description
Extraction-equilibria descriptions have been compared: from a multiparameter free-energy linearity equation and from a solvent-effect (SE) parameter. The first is more versatile and characterizes the extraction chemistry better. The SE* parameter varies in parallel with the solvent electrophilic solvation parameter, but the full correlation requires one to incorporate the cohesion energy density and polarity
