Histogram analysis in computed tomography - another possibility of early detection of pancreatic carcinoma

The article reports on the value of the analysis of the histogram in computed tomography in carcinoma of the pancreas. This additional examination possibility is critically reviewed and analysed. Evidently this method is useful as an additional examination method which can throw light on possible malignancy of a process in case of doubt. (orig.)
Abstract (German)
Es wird ueber den Wert der Histogrammanalyse der Computertomographie beim Pankreakarzinom berichtet und diese zusaetzliche Untersuchungsmoeglichkeit kritisch studiert und analysiert. Dabei zeigt sich, dass die Histogrammanalyse als zusaetzliche Untersuchungsmethode im Zweifelsfall doch einen wertvollen Hinweis auf ein malignes Geschehen geben kann. (orig.)Additional details
