Description
Consumption of fruits and vegetables at least 80 grams for 5 times on a daily basis is good for optimum health due to presence of health promoting phytochemicals having antioxidant, antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral and anticarcinogenic properties. Such diets may also help in lowering the risk of heart diseases, type 2 diabetes, and some cancers. (author)
