Description
Irradiation planning is a crucial effort of minimization dangers to healthy tissues from radiation treatment of tumours. A quantitative method is presented for the selection of optimum irradiation plans in the treatment of pulmonary tumours by telecobalt radiation. The simple calculation presented here can be well used to assist in the objective judgement of the irradiation plan chosen for a given treatment. (R.P.) 10 refs.; 5 figs
