Features of the defect structure formation in the near-surface layer of copper target during bombardment by law energy argon ions

Description

Accumulation of radiation defects in the surface layer of polycrystal copper by the argon ions irradiation with the E=80 eV energy, the current density of j-1.2 mA x cm-2 at the target temperature of 250 deg C is studied through the PEM method. Explanation of the observed orientation dependence of the radiation defects accumulation is proposed
