Description
The authors improve the coupled cluster method in lattice gauge theory based on the application of the random phase approximation. Using this method, the authors study the vacuum wavefunction and glueball mass of the 0-- and 0++ in 3 + 1-D SU(3) lattice gauge theory by finding the solution of the Hamiltonian eigenvalue equation. The calculated results are satisfactory (γ = m(0--)/m(0++) = 1.8578 +- 0.0506)
