Contribution of the Radium Institute named by E.A. Khlopin into development of nuclear-explosive technology of actinide production
- 1. FGUP NPO Radievyj Inst. im. V.G. Khlopina, Sankt-Peterburg (Russian Federation)
Description
One analyzed the key stages to elaborate a procedure to produce actinides in the course of the underground nuclear explosions in the Galit site salt deposits. Paper presents the results of the efforts undertaken in the Radium Research Institute to elaborate the mentioned procedure. Paper contains the results of the comprehensive examination of the underground nuclear explosion cavities and lists the properties of the resultant radioactive products to be treated to ensure extraction of the actinides
Abstract (Russian)
Additional details
