Description
A facility for radionuclide production using a 160 MeV beam branch of a linear accelerator has been constructed at the Institute of nuclear research under Russian Academy of Sciences (Troitsk, Moscow region). Using the beam of 100 μA intensity and higher the facility permits annual production of tens of Ci of strontium-82, as well as cadmium-109, sodium-22 and other radionuclides of medical, technical and scientific designation. 9 refs., 4 figs., 1 tab
