Simultaneous assay of human placental lactogen and human chorionic gonadotropin

Description
Simultaneous solid phase radioimmunoassay (RIA) for human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) and human placental lactogen (HPL) has been developed. Anti HCG sera were coated on the inner surface of polypropylene tube (12x75 mm) and anti HPL sera were coated on the outer surface of polystyrene tubes (4x75 mm). The HCG and HPL tracers were prepared by labelling with iodine 125. High correlation was obtained between simultaneous assay and individual assay (for HCG correlation coefficient r=0.98 and for HPL r=0.96). (author)
