Mechanism of zirconium tetrachloride sublimation
- 1. Moskovskij Gosudarstvennyj Univ. (USSR)
Description
Sublimation of ZrCl4 vapors in the flow of purified helium was studied. It was established that formation of ZrCl4 precipitate from vapor proceeds due to two parallel processes: volumetric nucleation of crystalline particles and precipitation of amorphous ZrCl4. ZrCl4 precipitate acquires at that multilevel structure, including primary microcrystals, their aggregates, plates and spherical particles
