Study on positioning technique of interlayer oxidation zone sandstone hosted uranium deposit based on high resolution magnetic survey

Description
The trial study of high resolution magnetic survey has been performed in three areas of northeast Ordos basin. The elementary results indicate that zone of oxidation and reduction in target stratum of interlayer oxidation sandstone uranium deposits are corresponding to the location of positive and negative anomaly in magnetic field respectively, while redox zone is located near the zero value anomaly area. This indicates the validity of high resolution magnetic method in position the zonation of interlayer oxidation sandstone hosted uranium deposits.(authors)
