The matrix swelling rate of UO2
Description
This paper describes the experimental determination of the UO2 matrix swelling rate of a Light Water Reactor fuel (LWR) by postirradiation examinations. The authors define fuel swelling as the relative volume or density change of an initially pore-free matrix. (Auth.)
