Does a pion mechanism determine the difference between the structure functions of the nucleus and the nucleon
Description
The contribution of the pion mechanism to the EMC effect is subjected to critical analysis. With realistic parameter values this mechanism can explain a large part of the effect over the range 0.1< or =x< or =0.7
