Double quantum well triple barrier structures: analytical and numerical results

Description
In this work, we report an analytical result for the transmissivity in a particular type of double quantum well triple barrier (DQW-TB) structure as well as numerical results, via the Numerov method, for bound states of a DQW-TB inside an infinite quantum well. In both cases we consider constant and position-dependent mass. In particular, the resonances of the DQW-TB found with the analytical formula are in good agreement with the energies of the bound states of an equal structure inside an infinite quantum well.
