A calculated trigger with MBNIM electronics

Description

The first experiment in which trigger electronics used the Multi-bit Nuclear Instrument Modules system has shown the power and the flexibility of this new kind of electronics. A complete momentum calculation was performed and used inside the trigger; this opens up new fields of possibilities of fast electronics. (orig.)
