Probing the Deuteron at High-T

Description

The deuteron is probed at both higher s and higher momentum transfer to the nucleon with photodisintegration than with elastic scattering. Kinematics makes the construction of a meson-baryon theory more difficult, and the potential success of a quark-based theory more likely. I review the latest experimental results, and discuss how well various quark models agree with the data
