Description
In this talk, we propose a somewhat new approach to the treatment of the quantization of spins and fermion systems, avoiding the usual techniques based on Grassmann algebras. Our aim, in the following, is to show that bosons and fermions can be embedded within the same mathematical framework, the commutation and anticommutation quantum relations of the two systems being extracted from the central extensions of abelian groups.
