Anomalous diffusion and Levy flights in channeling

Description

We predict a superdiffusion phenomenon in the channeling of positively and negatively charged particles in a crystal close to the crystal axes. Such enhanced diffusion possesses a need for applying analytical methods related to the theory of Levy stable distributions to the problems of charged particle beam propagation through oriented crystals
